Published Jul 08, 2020

The Swedish National Infrastructure for Computing (SNIC) and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology are participating in the efforts of researchers in the worldwide struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, SNIC-KTH is providing access to their supercomputing resources at PDC for activities that support this important research work. SNIC-KTH is also a member of the COVID-19 High Performance Computing (HPC) Consortium ( covid19-hpc-consortium.org/who-we-are ).

SNIC-KTH and the BioExcel Centre of Excellence have launched a series of activities together to support research on the SARS-CoV-2 virus to assist with the global fight against COVID-19 ( covid.bioexcel.eu ). EuroNews published a video/article about how BioExcel is supporting work using supercomputers to help find a treatment for the COVID-19 virus .
