The 7th HPCE3 Transnational Access Call for researchers is now open!

This call will close on 21 February 2019 at 23:59.

NOTE: The programme was very popular last year and KTH-PDC has already hosted 40% of its total possible number of visitors under this programme. The majority of the visiting researchers came from Baltic countries. So, if you are interested in visiting PDC, hurry up and apply while it is still possible!

If you are a professor or postdoctoral researcher, or a Ph.D. student, or a master's degree student who is doing their final diploma project - apply at www.hpc-europa.eu .

Remember that, through the HPCE3 Transitional Access programme, the successful applicants are given the possiblity:

  • to stay in one of the 9 HPCE3 partner countries for 3-13 weeks (In Sweden, it is possible to stay for up to 8 weeks.),
  • to join and to collaborate with one of the 9 HPCE3 partner country host labs, which are mostly university research groups specializing in various scientific disciplines,
  • to receive a full refund for their travel and accommodation expenses,
  • to receive a daily stipend for food and essential items during their visit,
  • to access and use the most powerful HPC and data facilities at one of the 9 HPCE3 partner centers,
  • to receive support from experts qualified both in HPC and a particular scientific discipline (which means that HPC-Europa3 is suitable even for researchers with little or no experience in HPC!),
  • to participate in training courses given by one of the 9 HPCE3 partner centres, and
  • to receive personal day-to-day support from the local HPC-Europa3 team at one of the 9 HPCE3 partner centres - they will deal with all your logistical, administrative and financial matters before, during and after your visit.

The closing dates for future HPCE3 calls will occur every 3 months with the HPC-Europa3 programme continuing until April 2021.
