Do you have an application or software that you'd like to port to LUMI to take full advantage of the AMD GPUs?

If so, you are welcome to apply to the open call for help with porting software to LUMI-G and AMD GPUs!

The call is open to research groups and companies interested in making their scientific software utilise the new AMD GPU-compute architecture in LUMI to the fullest. LUMI is one of the EuroHPC pre-exascale supercomputers, which is currently being deployed in Finland. It is hosted by a consortium of ten countries including Sweden, and any applications that run well on LUMI's AMD GPUs should also run well on Dardel.

The call is for proposals outlining a team porting effort for existing software where your group will be assisted by LUMI experts. The call is open to research groups or companies located in one of the LUMI consortium countries or a country that is a member of EuroHPC. PhD students and holders of postdoctoral fellowships are also eligible to apply.

The selected projects will receive porting help from the HPE Center of Excellence for LUMI and the LUMI User Support Team amounting to 3-12 person-months. Your research group will be expected to contribute at least three person-months.
