Abstract submissions for CUG2018 are now open. The CUG Conference is more than computing; it represents users across all inter-connected and inter-related High Performance Computing disciplines, including computing, storage, networking, and analytics. You and your colleagues from CUG Member sites around the world hold the key to sustaining this conference as an invaluable source of information and technical interchange. Please consider presenting at next year's conference in Stockholm, Sweden, which will be hosted by the PDC Center for High Performance Computing.

To submit your abstract please see the Call for Papers ( cug.org/CUG2018-CFP ) and follow the instructions. Abstracts for papers, tutorials, and BoFs are due by 21 January 2018. For papers, there is a requirement for a long abstract or outline of up to 1,000 words that can be attached as a PDF of up to 2 pages. Papers submitted by the 15 April 2018 deadline (midnight local Stockholm time) will be further reviewed and are eligible for the selection of the Best Paper (to be awarded and presented at the conference in a plenary session) and for publication in a special issue of the "Concurrency and Computation Practice and Experience" (CCPE) Journal. We expect to accept the best 8 to 10 papers to the CUG2018 special issue of the journal.

The CUG2018 proceedings will be published in the public realm of cug.org approximately 3 months after the conference unless you specifically request that your paper be published only in the members-only realm. You may select this option during the Program Materials submission stage.
