EASC2016 in Stockholm, 25-29 April - submit papers by 21 March

Published Feb 23, 2016

EASC2016, the 2016 Exascale Applications & Software Conference, will be held in central Stockholm at the Norra Latin Conference Centre from the 25th - 29th of April.

Exascale computing power will likely be reached in the next decade. While the precise system architectures are still evolving, one can safely assume that they will be largely based on deep hierarchies of multicore CPUs with similarly deep memory hierarchies, potentially also supported by accelerators. The challenge of designing and implementing applications running efficiently at large scale on exascale platforms involves developers of application, libraries, programming models and system software.

The aim of this conference is to bring together developers from different application fields to present the problems they are facing on the road to realising exascale computing and the approaches they are using to solve these challenges, and also to share the experience they gained during the petascale period.

You are invited to submit papers for the conference by the 21st of March. For more information, please see the conference website: www.easc2016.com .
