Tim Dykes

Tim Dykes is a senior research engineer in the HPE HPC/AI EMEA Research Lab, where he has worked since 2017. In that time he has participated in a variety of research and development projects, both internal and with customers through collaboration centres and international research projects. He holds a Ph.D. focusing on high-performance scientific visualisation in astronomy from the University of Portsmouth, U.K., where he also taught programming and computer graphics. His research interests and expertise include heterogeneous high-performance architectures, accelerators, performance optimisation and portability, embedded software, and scientific visualisation.
