Best regards, Short introMy working life circles around Grid computing. I first encountered Grids in 1996 (although it was called metacomputing in those days). After finishing my studies (I have a M.Sc in Engineering physics from Uppsala University, and a M.Sc in Computer Science from University of Houston), I held a pre-doc position at Argonne National Laboratory, where I worked in the Globus Project on software development and application integration. I moved back to Sweden in 2000, working in industry as a Software Architect at a company specializing in software for national-scale PKIs for the financial, government and mobile business sectors. I joined PDC in 2002, combining my two fields of expertise by focusing on security issues in Grids. I also teamed up with former colleagues when founding the Globus Alliance in 2003. My non-professional time is spent with family, remodeling our house, trying to stay in shape, and to play the Violin at a reasonably-skilled amateur level, alone and in ensembles. Current activities
