Update: I am no longer working at KTH

Update 2007-02-01:

After 4,5 intense years at KTH, I decided to move on and become an independent contractor. I am still visible in the Grid space, for instance I am on the Management and Security Commitee of Globus Development Community.

While my KTH email still works and I read it from the time to time, you can reach me in my new capacity at olle at mulmo dot net. My permanent home page has been refitted for company purposes.

Best regards,

/Olle

Short intro

My working life circles around Grid computing. I first encountered Grids in 1996 (although it was called metacomputing in those days). After finishing my studies (I have a M.Sc in Engineering physics from Uppsala University, and a M.Sc in Computer Science from University of Houston), I held a pre-doc position at Argonne National Laboratory, where I worked in the Globus Project on software development and application integration.

I moved back to Sweden in 2000, working in industry as a Software Architect at a company specializing in software for national-scale PKIs for the financial, government and mobile business sectors. I joined PDC in 2002, combining my two fields of expertise by focusing on security issues in Grids. I also teamed up with former colleagues when founding the Globus Alliance in 2003.

My non-professional time is spent with family, remodeling our house, trying to stay in shape, and to play the Violin at a reasonably-skilled amateur level, alone and in ensembles.
