Quick start instructions for PDC Cloud computing Infrastructure

It is very easy to start launching your Cloud instance in PDC Cloud (PDC2) just follow the instructions below.

If you have not applied for PDC2 account request an account using this application form.

PDC2 offers two client interfaces:

  1. A web interface where users only need a browser (https://cloud.pdc.kth.se/)
  2. Command Line Interface where the user has more control but have to install client libraries.

General requirements :

  1. Putty (on windows)
  2. SSH (on linux)
  3. After creating a cloud instance you will need private/public keys in place to login with admin access, For security reasons (and like other Cloud providers, eg. Amazon) we do not provide username/password enabled logins. Do not worry though, it is very easy to use PDC Cloud, follow the guide here to setup your FIRST login into Cloud instance .
